11th Conference Environmental Protection and Energy - December 8th 2023
 

The 2023 edition of the Environmental Protection and Energy Conference attracted a vibrant crowd, with 350 registered attendees representing 37 different nationalities. The event boasted a robust program featuring 93 presentations spread across three simultaneous sessions held in five rooms. These sessions, delivered in both English and Polish, catered to a diverse audience and were inaugurated by esteemed guests.

A standout moment of the conference was the spirited debate titled "Everything is in our hands!" Here, panelists engaged in critical discussions on various energy and environmental issues, covering topics such as soil protection, air and water resource management, sustainable waste utilization, and renewable energy sources. The debate, followed by an interactive Q&A segment, provided attendees with a deeper understanding of these crucial subjects.

Taking place in 2023, the conference embraced a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote participation. Despite presenting technical challenges, this format proved advantageous by facilitating attendance for individuals from distant locations, both nationally and internationally, while also reducing travel costs and the event's environmental footprint.

Designed with young academics and graduate students in mind, the conference serves as a platform for them to present their research, stay updated on current topics in the energy and environmental sectors, refine their presentation skills, and expand their professional network.
